For more than a quarter of a century BAUER have been solving drive problems everywhere where electric drives with high torques are needed for plant and machinery. Specialization in gearedmotors has paid off for our customers and the company.

In 1984 Bauer South Africa was formed as a distributor and numerous factors have enabled us to grow. Precision and technical perfection of our gearedmotors are only one side of the coin.

The deciding factors are proving solutions to our customers problems, which we regard as a challenge to offer tailor-made comprehensive solutions. It is frequently understanding the operating conditions and our customers requirements which enables us as drive specialists to recommend the optimum drive solution. In 2002 Bauer South Africa was sold to Hudaco.
